Modulinformationen

The module is primarily intended for students in English-language master’s degree programs at the Faculty of Engineering in Rüsselsheim. The general German language courses are each supplemented by a specialized language course titled “Technical Language A1.” This enables students to systematically develop their German language skills both in everyday life and in technical and professional contexts.
In the “German as a Foreign Language A1” course, students acquire basic knowledge of the German language. They learn to communicate in simple everyday situations, make initial contacts, and exchange important information about themselves, their studies, and their living environment.
The “Technical Language A1” course provides a basic foundation in technical language related to technology, careers, and the workplace. Students are introduced to basic technical terms and simple phrases. They practice naming objects, devices, and materials, as well as understanding and exchanging simple information on technical and professional topics.
