You can receive funding in the framework of the Erasmus Blended Short-Term Mobility Program. Detailed information will be provided in the info meetings on 16 November 2026 and 07 December 2026.
This Spring School is a cooperation of the TeachingLearningCenter at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and Arts and three partner universities in Poland, Finland and Spain. It can be recognized as a required elective course (Wahlpflichtkurs) in many degree programs.

Lernziele

Course aims
- to have a basic understanding of selected theories and models used to explain culture,
- to recognise, describe and analyse cultural differences in thinking and acting, intercultural misunderstandings and conflicts in job-related situations and to react appropriately and with cultural sensitivity to the context,
- to gain an insight into and reflect on one’s own set of transferable soft skills, behaviour and thinking in a self-critical manner,
- to present on issues related to soft skills and multicultural communication in English.

Voraussetzungen

Application:
1. Motivation form (provided in the Spring School Stud.IP course)

2. Proof of B2 level English
You can either hand in a language certificate or placement test/exam result not older than 2 years that proves at least B2 level English or take the B2 English online placement test provided in the Spring School Stud.IP course.

If the number of applications is higher than the number of available places (8 in total), applicants will be selected based on their motivation forms and language levels.

Prüfungsform

Final group presentation (Pass/Fail)

Preparing and holding a presentation about a given topic in an international team with other students (about 15-20 minutes per group of 3)
Presentation is prepared during the Spring School week in Poland and presented at the end of the week.

Anwesenheitsregeln

Taking part in all scheduled obligatory meetings:
- 07 Dec 2026 (18 - 19.30) - preparation meeting (online)
- 11 February 2027 (18.00 - 20.00) - get-to-know and course kick-off meeting (online)

Completing all online self-study tasks between 11 February 2027 and the Spring School week in Poland starting on 05 April 2027.

Taking part in all BIP classes in Koszalin (Poland) as well as the company visit and excursions from 05 April 2027 until 09 April 2027.
